We had originally booked 2 weeks in the Everglades State Park, but with the blood sucking mosquito's and fire ants, we threw in the towel Friday morning and packed up. We drove north to try and escape the bugs and humidity. We met plenty of great people at this last park. Receiving invites to NY, Quebec, Ontario, the east coast of Florida and even Disney World! If we haven't said it enough times… The RVers you meet on the road are a great bunch of people!
So here we are in Tampa. Weather is around 25 to 30 degrees and much less humid. We are staying at the "Tampa East RV park". It was originally about 3 campgrounds, and they all amalgamated. There are few pools, a fitness room, shuffle board, and over 12 km of roadways for walking and biking. We are parked under a couple big old oak trees and hardly any bugs! Yippee! We will write again soon, until then here are a couple pictures of some happy campers!
