We are currently staying at the only RV park situated in the heart of Austin, "The Pecan Grove". The park dates back to the 1940's and is a unique piece of Austin's history. The park is quirky to say the least. Apparently Matthew McConaughey kept his Airstream trailer here! Mostly made up of residents, the park keeps 10 spots for travellers. We were lucky enough to snag one for 3 nights, they don't stay vacant long! The manager is as southern as they get, giving us a warm welcome and helping us with our trailer hook-ups. He also gave us some great touristy suggestions for the area! Here are a few photos of the RV Park! This may not be your idea of a getaway, but Graham and I found it charming and one of our favourite campgrounds!
